Tip #1: Start with vacuuming

Your furniture may have collected a good deal of dirt and debris over the years. This could even be worse if you have a pet that lives in your home. Tip #2: Know the stains

Before starting to clean your upholstery, it's a good idea to identify what the stain is. Different types of stains will require various treatment methods.

You may be tempted to sit or lie down on your furniture once it looks inviting and clean. However, this is not a good idea. You should at least wait a day before you begin using your furniture once you have gone to the trouble of cleaning it.
