3 Ways To Improve Your Window Washing Techniques

Always Use a Squeegee

When it comes to the supplies that you to wash your windows with, you need to make sure that you don't skip the squeegee. The squeegee is one of the most important tools when it comes to getting a clean window. A squeegee is one of the best ways to wash your windows. 

When you use a squeegee, you want to press down on the glass in a constant motion, moving the squeegee across the window. This will allow you to smoothly clean the window and move across the glass in a smooth motion. As you get to the bottom of the window, you are going to want to have a microfiber cloth in your hand to clean up the water that is left by the squeegee. By repeating this process, you will be able to achieve a clean window in no time at all.  

Keep the Cleaning Formulate Basic

When it comes to cleaning your windows, you need to stick to a basic formula. You don't need to use a fancy technique to clean your windows. Often, people try to make the window cleaning process too technical, when in truth, it is really simple. You just need use a simple technique, where you start at the top of the window and work your way downward. You don't need to use any fancy swirls or techniques to clean your window with. 

When it comes to a cleaning solution, you can use a window washing solution. However, you can make your own window washing solution as well. All you need is to mix equal parts water with distilled vinegar. This is all you need to clean your windows with, and this solution is great for cutting through water stains that may have developed on the outside of the windows.  

Clean Up with Newspaper

Finally, if you are worried about streaks, instead of wiping up the water that comes off the squeegee with a microfiber cloth, you can use newspaper. Use the black and white newspaper, not the colored paper. Newspaper is a great way to clean up water without leaving behind any streaks.  

When it comes to improving your window washing techniques, you should always use a squeegee, keep the cleaning formula basic, and use a newspaper to ensure that no streaks are left behind.
